The location is idyllic, from your room window or outside on the shared terrasse and facilities you have a wonderful view of the mountains. The area is quiet and the village nearby has all necessary stores and facilities. The pension is close to many interesting visiting sites. It is easy to access by car and to park on site. The facility has everything you need on site. Rooms are well equipped, extremely clean and comfortable. There is a little kitchen space available as well. Breakfast was copious and delicious and the hosts were absolutely fantastic and friendly. Would recommend this place for a short and for a long stay in the area.

Set in the historic centre of Traunkirchen, at the shore of the Traunsee lake, Apartments im LOIDLs GUESTHOUSE offers a garden and free WiFi. Private on-site parking is available at a surcharge. The house consists of multiple apartments of different sizes. We were on the lower level, and in spite of concerns it would be cold during our winter stay it was very warm. In fact, the apartment is heated from floors, which means your feet stay warm too. Besides that… Kitchen is well equipped. Apartment is very clean and modern. Bathroom has new and high quality faucets. Traunkirchen is a very beautiful destination with a dozen of trails for hiking. The hosts were friendly. Unfortunately, we broke some glasses because it was a big company, but this was resolved in a very reputable manner. We would come back again!

One of the best experience, very friendly host, room was very clean and cosy, its much more better than you see in photoes. I recommend everyone to take a breakfast, its all home made and super delicious. Location just perfect, straight in front of train station.

The hotel is beautifully located only a few hundred meters from the Hinterstoder Hössbahn ski lift, in a quieter part of the town. The communication with the hosts was impeccable. Directions and pre-checking info were duly provided and helped for a smooth check-in process. Frau Maria and her family are putting all their energies and effort in making your stay in their little paradise as comfortable as your own home. The rooms are spotless clean, traditionally furnished and have all one needs. Towels, linens, covers are all provided. There is enough room to park outside the building. If you go there during winter (like our family likes to do) there are rooms in the basement for the skis, as well as one equipped with a warming rack for the boots. The sauna area available for the guest is yet another added value, especially after a long day on the slopes. Last but not least, it is worth mentioning the homie breakfast that was prepared daily for the guests. We have found a new favorite spot in Hinterstoder, and will make sure to return again.
