Situated in a quiet area of Sankt Wolfgang, a 12-minute walk from the centre, Hupfmühle Pension offers a restaurant serving Austrian cuisine and fish specialities. The accommodation was simply fantastic. The host was very kind and helpful, the room was perfect, and a stream flowed right beside our bed, just behind the soundproof windows. There’s no need to say anything about the area—it’s absolutely amazing. This is something you simply have to see for yourself. Both the accommodation and the surroundings. Thank you so much for everything—we’ll be back soon! :)

We came to Austria for skiing and had a great experience in de Leopoldhof hotel. Beautiful spa, very comfortable apartment, nice staff and great service. Hotel is located in beautiful nature next to the lake. I could imagine it’s also very nice during summer.

Located in the centre of Sankt Gilgen, Hotel-Pension Falkensteiner is 250 metres from the Zwölferhorn Cable Car and 400 metres from Lake Wolfgang. Marcus was very helpful. He suggested hikes, loaned hiking poles and rain gear. Wonderful breakfast, eggs cooked your way. Honor system for drinks cabinet. Even did our laundry at a charge.

Pension Schlömmer is located 4 km from Sankt Gilgen and has a private beach access to Lake Wolfgang, just 200 metres from the house. It offers for guests a balcony in every room. Our room was spotless and smelled fresh, with super cozy bath towels that made us feel right at home. The balcony was beautifully decorated with flowers, and the mountain views were just stunning—we couldn’t get enough of the peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was a highlight every morning! The bacon and scrambled eggs were delicious, and the homemade jams, yogurt, cheese were exceptional. Elizabeth was such a wonderful host—kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We’re so grateful for the care and hospitality she and her staff have provided. This place made our stay unforgettable!

Just 150 metres from Lake Wolfgang, Gästehaus Kloibergütl offers a private beach with deckchairs, free bicycle hire, and free WiFi in the entire property. Fantastic views, quiet setting, quiet inside, 2 room apartment was exceptionally designed and decorated, fully equipped kitchen, roomy. Cornelia was very attentive to our needs and questions. Great place to stay. Convenient to the 3 towns by the Wolfgangsee and the mountains.

Haus am Wald offers panoramic views over Lake Wolfgang and the Salzkammergut Mountains. Free WiFi and a private lakeside beach, which is 2 km away, are featured. Highly recommended! A beautiful wooden house, and the host and children are very friendly. The house is just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, and taking bus line 150 allows you to get anywhere. The house is clean and tidy, with mountain views right outside the window—I had a very comfortable stay.

This traditional, family-run hotel enjoys a quiet but central location, offering guests high-quality, comfortable accommodation in the pretty town of St. Early check in was super convenient and location was great. Room was a bit pricey but it was great quality, bed very soft and warm. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and my bus ticket to Salzburg was included in my stay. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming to St Gilgen.
