There is air conditioning, it was great as the room is on the south-east side and might be hot afternoon. The room is spacious, very well equipped. It was clear that a lot of thinking about guest comfort was invested. A very good small supermarket just in front of the hotel. You can easily make a great breakfast from excellent local products for moderate prices. Bus stop in front of the hotel, the bus is every 15-20 minutes, about 10 -15 minutes to the city centre

The host, (thank you directly if you are reading this :) was just perfect. Very helpful with what to do, and kept talking in German which allowed me to practice, as I am learning the language. In many other places in Austria and Germany, people just tend to switch to English when they hear me :D On top of that, the area in the mountains is just gorgeous and the premises were nicely taken care of and clean.

They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attentive nature and willingness to assist with any inquiries or requests truly made a positive impact on our overall experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious and diverse breakfast provided each morning. Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. Housekeeping services were carried out regularly, and I always returned to a well-maintained and tidy room after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The location of Pension Ballwein was also ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions and scenic spots. All in all, my stay at Pension Ballwein was a memorable one, largely thanks to the friendly and welcoming Simon and Daniela. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely pension to anyone visiting Salzburg, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Overlooking the Salzach Valley and the Untersberg Mountain, Pension David is 1 km from Puch and 4 km from Hallein. Salzburg can be reached in a 15-minute drive. Great breakfast, guest card that allowed us to take public transportation to and back from Salzburg. Parked our car to the closest train station for free. Josef was helpful and gave recommendations.

Featuring a private beach, Hotel Garni Melanie in Wals bei Salzburg has an indoor swimming pool, a fitness room and a spa area with a sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and a sun bed. Very, very nice family hotel. People are so kind. Breakfast is royal treatment.

Located in Eugendorf, 10 km from Salzburg, Gasthof Neuwirt offers a traditional furnished restaurant with a terrace. Free WiFi is provided in the entire property. Hotel exceeded our expectations! This was the best hotel during our trip to Austria (in total there were 4 diferent hotels all in one prive category)!! Our family room was super clean, bathroom almost brand new, large parking near the hotel. Really good breakfast with even a salmon! Dear hotel - keep this level also for future!

Excellent location Clean Spacious Condiments provided for assisting with safe catering (oil, salt, pepper, wax paper etc) was an excellent bonus
