The pension is housed in a beautiful old historical building while the rooms are modern and very tastefully furnished. The breakfast area is particularly lovely and the hosts were very friendly and generous. The breakfast offering was very good with many choices available including very good cappuccino. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting Melk.

The workers are very nice. Great breakfast included. In the evening, we eat at the compund's restaurant.. the food was great.

The house is situated on a calm street, it was very quiet. Breakfast was very good. Krems is very close - you just need to cross the bridge over the river.

Without a doubt this was the most amazing place we stayed in our entire trip to Austria. The employees are pleasant, kind and ready to help in everything. The room is large, spacious, decorated and equipped. The food at breakfast was above and beyond any expectation, so much variety, you could even order an egg according to your preference (scrambled, eye). Of course, the location of the hotel is breathtaking, among all the vineyards and nature, the silence and beauty do not leave much room for words. We loved everything and would stay there even more!

Located right next to the Danube River in the centre of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau Valley, the Donauwirt offers accommodation with free WiFi access and free private parking. The location is excellent. Situated in a quaint and central village and right across from the bus stop and a beach along the river where one can swim. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was out of this world. The family who owns and manages this hotel go out of their way to serve their guests. We did not have a car while there and didn’t need one. Between the buses and the seasonal train, we were covered and able to go where we needed to go. The highlight was renting bikes and cycling through the villages and sampling wines along the way.
