Me and my husband spent a couple of nights here, and it was a very nice place. The room was very clean and cozy and the yard is just beautiful and full of wonderful plants. The breakfast was very good nd the hosts were very nice and helpful. We hope to return some day.

Internet did not work on my computer but the team worked to find a solution and it worked. I was with my bike and there is no restaurant on site - regular guests invited me to join them for dinner and it was a memorable evening in great company. Thank you!

Without a doubt this was the most amazing place we stayed in our entire trip to Austria. The employees are pleasant, kind and ready to help in everything. The room is large, spacious, decorated and equipped. The food at breakfast was above and beyond any expectation, so much variety, you could even order an egg according to your preference (scrambled, eye). Of course, the location of the hotel is breathtaking, among all the vineyards and nature, the silence and beauty do not leave much room for words. We loved everything and would stay there even more!

Located right next to the Danube River in the centre of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau Valley, the Donauwirt offers accommodation with free WiFi access and free private parking. The staff were so kind to us. The location is breath-taking. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony with a view over the valley and we felt so spoilt. The breakfast provided was much more luxurious and varied than we've had at other places in a similar price-range - there were even local delicacies available. The location is superb, right next to the Danube. We hired bikes from about 50 yards from the entrance to the hotel and were able to cycle beside the Danube and enjoy the river ferry too. We would love to come back!
