Amazing recently refurbished hotel in American River. The rooms were spacious and super comfy beds. We actually spotted the glossy black cockatoo from our balcony. The hosts were super friendly and served a delicious breakfast every morning and we went for their 7 course fine dining for dinner where we got to watch sunset and was the best meal we had on the island hands down

The Perfect Love Nest Magical stay! This converted shed is now a stunning, gypsy-inspired love nest full of charm and clever design. Beautiful details everywhere — cosy potbelly stove, luxurious double rain shower, lush outdoor pond, and an incredibly comfortable bed. Thoughtful touches — artisan bread, decent bottle of red, chocolates — made it feel extra special. A short stroll to Sellicks Beach. A true hidden gem. Highly recommend! A wonderfully thoughtful and welcoming host. Every detail was so well considered — it made for a truly relaxing and memorable stay. Thank you. What a wonderful mini break! The accommodation was beautiful, with spacious rooms, comfortable furnishings, and excellent heating and cooling. We especially loved the plentiful supply of wood for the combustion heater, which made for a cosy, romantic night in. Relaxing with wine and music in the spa bath while taking in the stunning scenery was a highlight. We also felt truly spoilt by the thoughtful and generous goodies our host left for us to enjoy.
