Guesthouse Mirabel is a B&B located in the heart of historic Bruges, a 500-metres walk from the Market Square with the Belfry of Bruges. We have visited Bruges 4 times and by far this was our best experience! Guesthouse Mirabel exceeded our expectations! We received a very warm reception from our hostess, Agna, a to include a warm beverage (perfect for the cool/rainy day). She gave us a very thorough orientation of the house as well as the city. The newly renovated accommodations were impeccably clean, very comfortable, spacious with much thought given to every detail-the elegant decor, wonderful/homemade to order breakfast, readily available water/coffee machines. The rooms were by far one of the largest we have seen in Europe with bath tub and shower, a/c and heater, elevator (or stairs if you need to work off the Belgian waffles/chocolate & beer). The hotel was a couple minutes walk to the city center, parking was available within a few minutes walk (the hostess provided us with detailed information about parking prior to our arrival), shops/restaurants/cafes are located right around the corner! Also, the house was very quiet, so much so that we were able to open the window at night to enjoy the cool spring evenings.

The hotel was spotless, tastefully decorated, and perfectly located—everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, and the bus stop was close by too. The nearby park was a lovely bonus for peaceful morning walks. Thank you for everything!

This is by far the best place I have ever stayed, the owner of the place took us from train station by his car without asking money, he carried our very big luggages and in the place they make delicious cakes for their guests. They were generous for us. And also at the end of our stay they took us to the train station again and it was also free of charge, the man and the lady of the place were very kind, love this place, highly recommended.

There's absolutely nothing not to like about Hidden Gem. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, has comfy beds and even a fridge with a small selection of beverages should you get thirsty at inconvenient hours. Katrien received us personally, greeted us like we were old friends, and was generally very helpful. She gave us tips and directions, even had prepared a little map with the key features of Bruges. She even knew where to find the stop for the Flix Bus! :-D It's a shame we were only staying for one night as the property itself is so beautiful. We'll definitely be coming back for a longer stay. Hidden Gem is located literally opposite the main station in a small side road, but you can't hear a thing - no traffic, no trains, no people. A dream!

Designed with style and giving a cozy atmosphere. Very welcoming hosts. Situated in a nice neighborhood, not so far from the center by walk. Definitely would stay there again if visiting Bruges. :)
