Free WiFi is available throughout the property and The Menin Gate is 14 km away. I had a room in the hotel's recently upgraded Guesthouse. Breakfasts were in their popup restaurant whilst the main hotel and restaurant is being upgraded. The food was excellent, and the room (No 8) was excellent too. All of the hotel's facilities are either in, or just off, the main square, making access to Talbot House, the Hop Museum, etc, all within very easy walking distance. The Hotel de la Paix is a family run business, and the owner and staff are all friendly and helpful. My group has stayed with them many times in the past, and hopefully will continue to do so in the future.

The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. It's a beautiful old house with a rich history. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great! The lady who runs the hotel was delightful. The museum was very interesting, showing a more human side of the soldiers without losing the sobriety of the historical context.

Sylvie and Erik were lovely hosts and made a delicious french breakfast.
