The property is around 33 km from Plopsaland, 43 km from St Philibert Metro Station and 44 km from Phalempins Metro Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and The Menin Gate is 14 km away. I had a room in the hotel's recently upgraded Guesthouse. Breakfasts were in their popup restaurant whilst the main hotel and restaurant is being upgraded. The food was excellent, and the room (No 8) was excellent too. All of the hotel's facilities are either in, or just off, the main square, making access to Talbot House, the Hop Museum, etc, all within very easy walking distance. The Hotel de la Paix is a family run business, and the owner and staff are all friendly and helpful. My group has stayed with them many times in the past, and hopefully will continue to do so in the future.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. The accommodation features full-day security and luggage storage space for guests. Everything was perfect - the room was spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and well-maintained. We were treated to a warm welcome and a fabulous breakfast the next morning. Enjoyed every moment!

A freshly prepared breakfast is served daily in the luxurious breakfast room with skylight. The breakfast includes coffee, tea, juice, fresh rolls, a variety of spreads and eggs made to guest's liking. For dinner there is a wide variety of restaurants in the area. The hosts were excellent. Very helpful for planning my days and recommending things to see and do. The room was large, very comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. The bnb is only five minutes walk from historical downtown, restaurants and museums but I never felt unsafe even walking after dark.
