Wonderful hotel and amazing value. The room was huge and clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was great, the staff was kind and helpful. The location is perfect — easy walk into the historic town center. The center courtyard is a pleasant place to hangout. We also appreciated the dedicated parking area (with a gate that was closed at night) for our rental car. Would highly recommend!

At the accommodation, all rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV and a safety deposit box. I honestly loved this pousada! The bed was big and so comfortable! Very clean too. We never got to use the swimming pool but it looked amazing. It is at a good distance from city center and 3 minutes from the bus stop which was handy. All perfect! Breakfast was my favourite.

Free private parking is available on site. Apple House is a beautiful hotel, 5 fantastic swimming pools, a great games room for our children and they loved the ice cream shop too. The restaurant has fabulous room and the breakfast is to die for, so much choice and the desserts are unreal. The staff are amazing, everyone we met walking along greats you a big smile, the stay go out of their way to do everything for you from checking in to arranging the transfers into Paraty each day and evening. Tassiana was amazing for organising the boat cruise, which was unbelievable, she really couldn’t do enough for us. Going up and beyond and awaiting when we needed some urgent laundry taken care of she arrange this for us too and also arranging a really nice transfer for us to Ilha Grande. Thank you Tassiana for everything and all the other staff at Apple House.

Located on the beachfront in Praia de Araçatiba and featuring a garden, Pousada Sobre A Rocha has free WiFi throughout the property. The property is around 80 metres from Aracatiba, 1.6 km from Araçatibinha Beach and 2.1 km from Longa Beach. The inn provides garden views and a barbecue. Pretty much 10/10 across the board to be honest! Wonderful friendly hosts, beautiful setting, delicious breakfast every morning (with home made yoghurt and cake!), free Netflix in every room, 3 mins walk from the beach and a very sweet cat too. 8 mins from the ferry terminal, and we were met on arrival to help bring our bags up too which was a lovely touch. The beach itself is beautiful and surprisingly quiet, but has 4 or 5 very good restaurants on it too. There are ample cooking facilities and a brand spanking new bbq area if you feel like cooking at home. A 20 minute walk from the home takes you to another very private beach, and just past that you can go snorkelling with turtles in Lagoa Verde. Would recommend this place to anyone, a very special and beautiful spot!
