The location was amazing, super close to Abraao by walking to the beach, but also far from the party noises at night. The property itself was beautiful with sea views everywhere. Breakfast was excellent too! It was easy to book transfers and tours through the hotel. Best thing about the location was the boat tours picked us up right at the hotel’s private dock, so we didn’t have to wait in line at the pier with the crowd. We also used their kayak (complimentary) twice and were happy with this amenity. We arrived late the first night and ordered burgers with the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Rental snorkel gear and minibar items were super reasonable prices, they don’t up charge you for your convenience! Staff were all extremely friendly, helpful, and communicative. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone going to Ilha Grande!

At Raio de Sol pousada & camping, each room is fitted with a seating area. The location is great, very quiet, but also close to everything you need. The hosts are wonderful and really helped me when a transfer got cancelled last minute, thank you again Marina! 🙏 The apartment was lovely and had everything I needed for a three day stay in the island. Would stay here again!

The inn provides mountain views and a sun terrace. As a gardener, I could not resist this special place, designed by a landscape designer, for my first stay in the Atlantic rainforest. The beautiful grounds give way to total nature in steps. It was quiet and comfortable, a true getaway from it all but easy to reach town in minutes by boat. The walk to Abraao is worth doing once, but make use of the convenient boat to reach the more impressive hiking paths on the island. We enjoyed listening to the frogs and birds—watch out for hummingbirds and bright blue butterflies. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic.
