What a wonderful surprise to have discovered B&B Stirnimann for our two night stay while touring Switzerland. The area is peaceful and lovely and the stay was everything we could ever want and more. Our hosts offered us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The accommodations were not just clean but absolutely spotless and our room was cozy, spacious and very comfortable. We were allowed to use the full kitchen and living room and porch in addition to our room and that was such a treat for us on our long trip. The best part you ask? The best part was Hedi our host who we instantly adored. She is a gracious, funny, kind and friendly force of nature who made sure we were comfortable, offered touring and local information and provided us with a full delicious breakfast. There are some people and places that enhance a trip in special ways that you know you will never forget. Staying at B&B Stirnimann and meeting Hedi will hold a special place in our memory and we hope to return someday.

Breakfast was amazing. Coffee was made for us and brought to our table. Was a very nice gesture. The rest we grabbed a bit of everything, the bread was still warm and crispy. The croissants also were divine. The hotel has a unique charm. The check-in was the best I've ever had. Very flexible. We arrived a bit late and our room key was placed in a letterbox outside of the hotel, with a pin code that was sent to us previously.

The property and owners make it extremely simple for us to check-in, have a kitchen available at all times, ask questions but also have privacy. The beds are super comfortable and there’s all the amenities you could need.

The hotel was very delightful. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The faculties were great, clean, modern, comfortable. The breakfast staff were helpful and attentive, with great coffee and bread with jams. And the location was walking distance to most in-town things.

In the village of Villigen, Hotel zum Hirschen serves a buffet breakfast and Swiss and French cuisine. A wine cellar and free Wi-Fi in all areas are also featured. I liked everything in my stay there, especially the location, people working there and the very tasty breakfast :) Thank you so much! Will visit the place again next year :)

Built in 1586, the Gasthof zur Waag in Bad Zurzach is located close to the Rhine River, on the edge of the Black Forest. Bed super comfy. Really clean. Great food
