What a wonderful surprise to have discovered B&B Stirnimann for our two night stay while touring Switzerland. The area is peaceful and lovely and the stay was everything we could ever want and more. Our hosts offered us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The accommodations were not just clean but absolutely spotless and our room was cozy, spacious and very comfortable. We were allowed to use the full kitchen and living room and porch in addition to our room and that was such a treat for us on our long trip. The best part you ask? The best part was Hedi our host who we instantly adored. She is a gracious, funny, kind and friendly force of nature who made sure we were comfortable, offered touring and local information and provided us with a full delicious breakfast. There are some people and places that enhance a trip in special ways that you know you will never forget. Staying at B&B Stirnimann and meeting Hedi will hold a special place in our memory and we hope to return someday.

Loved the effort the owner put in the furniture and color choice. Everything went smoothly, the room is big and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and I could even park my e-bike in the garage.

Casa Esperanza is located a 5-minute tram ride from the centre of Basel and offers free WiFi and a shared terrace with seating area. The rooms all come with a flat-screen TV. We really liked Kai and his mother. They were very nice and gave us a lot of information about the city. The room was clean and cosy. The location of the house is close to public transport and also to the city center.

Breakfast was amazing. Coffee was made for us and brought to our table. Was a very nice gesture. The rest we grabbed a bit of everything, the bread was still warm and crispy. The croissants also were divine. The hotel has a unique charm. The check-in was the best I've ever had. Very flexible. We arrived a bit late and our room key was placed in a letterbox outside of the hotel, with a pin code that was sent to us previously.

Fantastic staff, very clean place, good location, everything is very well organized. Very good wi-fi, very close to the train station. Freshly renovated. Overall, fantastic place for the price.
