Everything was beautiful and very, very clean. The owners are very kind. There is a shared balcony and an equipped kitchen (microwave, toaster, coffee machine, plates, cups, glasses)... The cupboards are full of snacks and the fridge is full of juices, beer, water, yogurt, ice cream, and all of it costs only 1 CHF. In the fridge you have your own container for things, and if that's not enough, you can ask for more. You also have a closet in the dining room with a key where you can keep your things. The bathroom is fully equiped (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, ear cleaning sticks, wet wipes, dental floss, hair dryer)... What particularly surprised us is that when you check in, you get a card with your basic information on it, and with that card you have a discount on a very large number of the attractions you'd like to see. The location is simply breathtaking, there's lots of extraordinary locations to visit, and many of them were in a close vicinty of our accommdation. This quietly located guesthouse is 12 km from the village center of Grindelwald and is only accessible by gondola. (In summer, it is also accessible via various hiking trails.) The views from the room (or property) were absolutely breathtaking. The room was very tidy and clean. There’s also a possibility to have dinner in the Hotel which is quite convenient! Highly recommend if you're looking for a stay with both convenience and natural beauty.

Situated in the car-free Wengen in the Jungfrau Region, Hotel Berghaus enjoys a quiet location surrounded by the Bernese Alps. The Männlichen Cable Car and the village centre are only a short walk away. Really friendly and helpful staff. The fish meal we had was excellent as was the wine choice. Everything is really clean and we had a great room with a view of the mountains.
