Hotel Garni Villa del Sole is located in Ponte Tresa, a 20-minute walk from Lake Lugano. It offers accommodation with kitchenettes and terraces, overlooking Monte di Varese and Malcantone. Everything was amazing. Our hosts were very friendly and kind. Beautiful and clean room with a great terrace. Homemade confiture that was served with breakfast from fruit grown on the property was the best I’ve ever had.

Everything was amazing. Accomodation has great connection to the city. Room was clean and has ventilator for hot days. My room was facing garden so no noise from the road. Best part of this accomodation is the owner, who is the nicest lady ready to help with everything. Different homemade jams for breakfast were my favourite part. I would definitely recommend.

Located directly at Lake Lugano in the centre of Morcote village, Albergo Ristorante della Posta features a lakeside restaurant and a private lake access. Free Wi-Fi is available. So many great things about this hotel! The location is spectacular!!! The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food, especially the pizza. Breakfast had lots of options. The room was clean and comfortable. The room view looked towards the famous church on the hill and terra cotta roof tops. There didn't seem to be hot water for showering the evening I was there. Not sure why that was, as I didn't ask. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. Overall, fantastic value for the money. I very highly recommend this hotel. I hope to visit Morcote again. When I do, I will stay here again.
