The hotel offers a very nice view of the mountains and the lake, plus it is slightly outside the city centre, therefore very calm and quiet. Despite being a bit outside, the city centre is very easy to access since the hotel offers free bus tickets (and the bus station is just downstairs) and free WiFi in the old town. For us, this combination was just perfect! The breakfast was also very good, fresh, and diverse.

Breakfast before 9 was served in room building, all was available, top service.

This hotel is situated in Meggen, just 700 metres away from Lake Lucerne. It offers an Italian restaurant with garden terrace. All rooms have a bathroom and cable TV. Everything! Location is great, easy to find and easy on public transport. Charming authentic hotel with great and clearly very popular restaurant downstairs. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, basic, but we knew that. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.

The Sonnenberg Hotel in Kriens offers panoramic views over Lake Lucerne, the mountains and the forest, a Nespresso machine in every room, seasonal cuisine and free WiFi. Excellent place to stay in Lucerne.👍

A nice little town with a great location for the hotel — the train station is very close, so it’s easy to get to places like Lucerne in just 40 minutes. I really liked it; it felt cozy and peaceful. The only thing is, I would have preferred a better breakfast, but that’s just a matter of personal taste. Thank you for a comfortable stay.
