The bed is comfortable and the facilities are adequate. The breakfast included are great too. The hotel is on the main street but the entrance is a bit difficult to find. I walked pass it the first time without noticing it.

The staff were incredibly kind and polite — it truly felt like visiting my grandparents’ home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking and definitely one of the top reasons to stay here.

The hotel was very clean and well cared for. We had a large family room with stunning views over the valley. It had a large comfy double bed plus bunk beds and a table and seating for 6 people. Bergpension Battagliahutte had a great homely feel thanks to the hosts Tomas and his lovely family who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.

They also have fresh apple juice from their own apples, and great coffee, muesli and a few other things! Here, you will not find plastic or cardboard food or junk! It's real, and represents and supports local farmers and economy!

Very welcoming and very helpful staff, very polite people who make it feel like we are in our own home. Great rooms, great breakfast, everything was perfect this weekend at the hotel. I strongly recommend
