First of all, the host was very accommodating. He welcomed us with warmth in his beautiful home. He spent time chatting with his guests. Our room was perfect for my family. We also had our own bathroom; all the essentials we needed. Well equipped shared kitchen, condiments in cooking are also provided. There’s free tea and coffee! We just loved almost everything!

Originally a Capuchin monastery dating from the 17th century, Kloster Dornach is only 50 metres from Dornach-Arlesheim Train Station and 12 km from Basel. Thw monastery feeling is calming to the mind and body.No tv, no distractions. Its nice. Great staff and breakfast. Comfortable beds and soft bathrobe and towels. Bring your slippers!
