It was easy to get in with the self-checkin which was important for me since I arrived with the last train. The room had everything I needed, and the bed was perfect. Good pillows, good mattress, just excellent.

Came to stay one night for an early start ski touring. The room is well maintained, warm and functional. Comfortable bed, good shower. The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast but there is a common fridge where one can deposit their things (there is a numbered box per room inside the fridge) and free hot coffee and tea in the morning.

Bett am Weiher is directly located at the shore of a pond. Swimming is possible 200 metres away at a local swimming pool. The main train station is 800 metres away and the closest bus station Adler is 50 metres from the bed and breakfast. Centrally located in the old town, lovely character in both the location and the property, beautiful views over the lake, quiet, lovely breakfast room with all we needed.

The Bären guest house offers easy access to numerous smaller Appenzell skiing and cross-country skiing areas, which can be reached within 10 minutes’ drive. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Dornbirn Exhibition Centre is 28 km from the inn and Säntis is 28 km away. The hotel and owners were lovely and very welcoming. It is in a quiet village where you can enjoy the countryside and stay away from the very touristy parts nearby, but can still go see them very easily (less than 10 mins away from all the popular hikes, and you get a great view of the mountains as you drive towards them). The dinner menu is great and the breakfast is filling with lots of variety. It gave us a chance to try the different sorts of local cheese!

Beautiful property with a gorgeous spacious room. The staff was very friendly (even with a little language barrier); they were super helpful and kind.

It offers free Wi-Fi and wired internet access, a breakfast buffet, and a charging station for electric car. Friendly stuff. Good breakfast. Excellent location. Super clean. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Garni Hotel Torkelbundte.The staff were friendly and helpful,the rooms were spotless and comfortable,and the facilities were excellent.The breakfast was delusious with lots of variety.Everything exceed our expectations,we will definetly come back and highly recommend it!
