The best place to go if you are traveling solo and without any planning, they have tours everyday for the most touristic scenes and provide dinner every night for the most accessible price so people can hangout and make friends. It is also located near the main street (Caracoles) and has a lot of restaurants, cambio exchange and small supermarkets nearby. It was my best experience in Atacama!

Communication was excellent. We used Whatsapp because my Spanish is not good. The room and rest of the hostal was well kept and clean. We really enjoyed our stay, and we liked it was a short walk from the central roads. We are also very grateful that we were able to leave a suitcase behind when we realized our multi day tour to Uyuni would not let us take both suitcases. Highly recommend Hostal Qachi Chentura.

Hostal Purilackti pune la dispoziție cazare în San Pedro de Atacama, la aproximativ 2 km de Pukará de Quitor și la 13 km de Valle de la Luna. A great location right in the centre of San Pedro but still quiet enough not to be disturbed by noise from the main street. We slept very well here although a few dogs barking on the street at night. Clean room and bathroom and a comfortable bed. Good bathroom and plenty of hot water for a shower after days in the desert. We had a little terrace and table outside our room in the shade, and a communal kitchen with refrigerator and free coffee, tea and cereal, and a big water dispenser. A couple of hammocks and a shaded area with a couple of tables to hangout. The owner, Pablo, is such a nice guy. He was very helpful and friendly and speaks very good English. Through conversations I learned a little about the area, and the history and battles between ancient tribes, the Incas, and the Spanish. He had a lot of tips for places to see and eat, all of which we followed. And although there is not actually parking at the hostel due to limited space and the gate being very narrow, he still let us park our car there at night . If I were to come back there San Pedro I would definitely stay here again.
