Your host is a good man and wants to please you. He is good to talk to and provided some great advice on roads to take. Motorcycle parking is secure, behind a locked gate. Not covered but that's not a problem for us. The location is very quiet, enjoying the sound of the birds, but it's just a 5 minutes walk in to town.

Best Hostal throughout our one month of travelling South America. Very cosy, warm and comfortable room, with beautiful timber interiors. Communal kitchen to keep and prepare food. Lots of options for breakfast with perfect scrambled eggs. Thank you to Henry for all his help and recommendations on tour companies and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

The kitchen was great, and there were several common areas, all of them really nice and well set up. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were there a bit off-season, so the hostel wasn’t very busy — it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves, which was awesome. We also really appreciated the fridge and pantry system, where each guest gets their own shelf and cupboard. Super practical. Overall, it was a great place and we definitely recommend it. That said, there were two downsides. First, the hot water in the shower wasn’t always reliable. And second — this was the big one for us — there was no top sheet on the bed. Just a blanket. Which raises the question: do they even wash those between guests? Probably not. So yeah, not great in terms of hygiene. Plus, it was a bit warm at night, and having a sheet would’ve made a big difference. Honestly, a top sheet should be standard. That part really bugged us.
