Extremely family friendly! He even brought us fresh laid eggs! Highly recommend and will return!

This is s lovely place to stay.The room was large and clean with excellent sleep quality.I had the use of the kitchen where coffee,tea and hot water were free of charge and always available.The location was excellent-with great views over the fjord and a pleasant walk into Plaza de Armas....Many thanks to Claudio for being friendly and welcoming....There is also a great restaurant close by....Top marks...10 out of 10.

Literally like 1 minute to the coast from the hostel(walking) and only a few blocks from the artisanal market and to the towns’ busy area. The house was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The host Raúl was very intelligent, well mannered, and informative. Though, I didn’t use it, he offers tours in his Hostel (penguins, the town, etc). Very good communication with him and he recommended us good places to eat and where to visit within Ancud and where to go afterwards. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Private parking available upon request. Central AC in the house, so we slept nice and warm.

Casa Azul is located in the centre of Puerto Varas, only 7 minutes away from the main square, supermarkets, the beach and the Casino. Clean, cozy, awesome kitchen and common space.

Set in Puerto Varas, Los Lagos region, Hostel Casa Apel is situated a 19-minute walk from El Paseo Pier. Among the various facilities of this property are a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. I loved this hostel! It is very homey, as it is a big house with a big garden in the back. The bed was super comfortable, everything was clean, the shower was nice, the staff was friendly, the common areas including the kitchen was super. It's around a 20 minute walk to the center, so if you don't mind that, this is a very good value hostel!
