Hernan went above and beyond to accommodate us after a delayed ferry due to poor weather! He was very responsive and sent us information prior to arrival and during the stay! Extremely family friendly! He even brought us fresh laid eggs! Highly recommend and will return!

This is really a wonderful place, super clean, cozy but with good common areas, amazing comfortable beds and warm at night. Safe location and easy to walk up the nearby hill right into the center of downtown Castro. It was always very quiet here, especially at night. A nice experience to stay in a palofito (stick house).

Casa Azul is located in the centre of Puerto Varas, only 7 minutes away from the main square, supermarkets, the beach and the Casino. Absolutely TOP notch!!(I'd given 20 out of 10) My Casa Azul experience was incredibly awesome! It's a beautiful wooden house with so many cultural/historical details with peaceful ambiance. It's like a walking into a museum and place is spotless clean as well. Also I've met several wonderful fellow travelers around the globe and I'd definitely return again. Set in Puerto Varas, Los Lagos region, Hostel Casa Apel is situated a 19-minute walk from El Paseo Pier. Among the various facilities of this property are a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. Amazing hostal one of the best after traveling for 3 months. Super complete kitchen, awesome common areas, good looking and clean and friendly staff. Can’t ask for more.

From the warm welcome when we arrived until the minute we left, our stay here was wonderful. Andrea and Esteban are amazing hosts and everything here is imbued with so much love and care. Breakfast was really nice as well. There is a beautiful garden by the water where you can enjoy the sunset. We wished we could have stayed longer!
