Location is very central (two block from the main square and close to a shopping center (Jumbo); nevertheless, the neighbourhood has clearly had a more glorious past. Staff were really very friendly and helpful. Going out of thei way to make sure I felt "at home".

The hotel is located in an old converted house that survived the 2010 earthquake. The location is just a few blocks from the main square, shops, cafes, and restaurants. The Club Talca is a short walk and is an excellent yet inexpensive restaurant. We had a ground floor room that was comfortable, well lit and had air conditioning, which is vital in the summer.. The bed was very comfortable and adequate and extra blankets were available in the wardrobe. The bathroom was small but clean. I really appreciated the provision of a block of electrical sockets that allowed me to plug in the various chargers for our electronic devices. We had the breakfast and that was both ample and very good. We also had lunch at the hotel’s cafe and we were surprised at how good it was and the low price. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and we will certainly return if we ever go back to Talca. This is a “boutique” hotel but you must not expect too much. They are trying their best but it is still a budget “boutique” hotel.
