When my Uber dropped me off here, he said that I would enjoy the neighborhood since it was safe and quiet. He was right! The moment I walked in I felt like I was in a sanctuary. This is one of the best hostels that I have stayed in this month. The kitchen is well appointed and the vibe is immaculate! If you stay here, use the space they have set aside for meditation. Brilliant!

In addition, she is a great source of knowledge about the island's tourist facilities, the history of the island and Rapa Nui culture. This was our fourth visit to the island and Hostal Makohe was by far the best place we have ever stayed at.

Los anfitriones Luz y Tulio son unas personas encantadoras. Estuvieron atentos a todos los detalles, con una calidez muy especial. Nos encantó el desayuno, contemplando lo que a cada uno le gustaba... bien sano y caserito. Un mimo para el alma. La vista del lugar es hermosisisima. Realmente, tuvo gusto a poco. Preciosos e inolvidables dias.

The guest house was our favourite of our time in Chile and Peru. The common areas were beautiful, rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious. The location was also wonderful with most things in walking distance. The best part was our hosts, who provided us with an extensive itinerary and recommendations on restaurants. They also gave us information around safety in Valpo. Highly recommend!
