Sonia and Francisco were absolutely lovely, making you feel welcome and cared for, treating you to a delicious and charming breakfast every morning, sharing stories about the island and its history. A perfect place to stay!

When my Uber dropped me off here, he said that I would enjoy the neighborhood since it was safe and quiet. He was right! The moment I walked in I felt like I was in a sanctuary. This is one of the best hostels that I have stayed in this month. The kitchen is well appointed and the vibe is immaculate! If you stay here, use the space they have set aside for meditation. Brilliant!

We have never met hosts like these ones. The couple, Pamela and Carlos, are not only nice and friendly and accommodating, but they seriously try to do whatever it takes to make your Rapa Nui experience unforgettable. They offer an airport transfer and a delicious breakfast at no additional cost, even though these are not included in the booking.com offer. They recommend tour agencies, restaurants and other points of interest that are super reliable. They go as far as taking you to some places if you cannot afford other means of visiting. Don't overuse their kindness! As for the Hostal: the room is quite spacious, the bed is very comfortable, all spaces are spotless clean, especially the bathroom. The room is decorated with much taste. You can use the amazingly beautiful outside terraces with lots of flowers to relax. There is a common kitchen shared by all rooms, which is superbly equipped with everything necessary, even for cooking yourself, which you won't do, because the food offered in the restaurants is delicious. Even though there is no air con, the temperature in the room is pleasant with windows open. There are some chickens in the backyard and a lovely cat, that adores snacks. Overall the quality that you receive for the money paid is unbelievable, so look no further and book now!

The location, the hotel, our room, and breakfast....all excellent. And the staff were fantastic. They helped us to arrange a car and driver. This level of service is very rare. The hotel is a building that is over 100 years old and beautifully renovated.
