I would rate it 10 stars for top-notch hospitality. It's a cute place. Cute style and decor. Natural wood. Nice pillows. Nice white towels. The hosts are great and very, very helpful. You get very personalized service. They helped me with my tour tickets, take out dinner order, transportation, etc. The front desk is open late. It's beautiful at night with it all lit up. The pool looks beautiful at night as well with the blue lights. . Walkable to shops and restaurants. Nice neighborhood. Great AC system. Cool mood lighting. Very large bathroom.

From the moment I arrived, Mr. Wally proved to be an exceptionally kind, honest, and helpful host who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. His excellent English was a huge advantage, making communication effortless—this alone might be one of the top reasons for native English speakers to choose his place. He was always accommodating, flexible with changes, and genuinely cared about his guests' needs. The location is another major plus—close to many scenic spots and hotspots in Zhangjiajie, including the Wulingyuan entrance to the National Forest Park, Tianzi Mountain, and the stunning Avatar Mountain. This made exploring the area incredibly convenient. If you're looking for a welcoming, well-located, and hassle-free home stay in Zhangjiajie, “Wally House” is the perfect choice. The hotel members were super friendly and could speak english very well. They arranged everything for us e.g.: transfers to Zhangjiajie, Tianmen mountain, railway station, Glass bridge… We had a positve expreience, and I fully recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to visit this region.
