It was an amazing stay and I loved everything. First I have to thank Joye for being super nice and helpful, he was in touch before I arrive and managed to book for me tour and sort everything to make my stay wonderful. The hotel is located in the middle of the old town in a beautiful old Chinese house, I loved my room with the spa bathtub, it was like going back in time to live a Chinese’s dynasty. Joye spoke excellent English and his assistant was nice enough to pick me and my luggage from the South Gate to to the hotel, they were doing everything to make my stay comfortable. Joye also booked for me jade snow mountain tour and recommended amazing restaurants. Thank you for all the help, highly recommend this place :)

Jacky's Guesthouse ligger i Yuanyang og har et fælles opholdsområde, terrasse, en restaurant og bar. It was an honor to stay with legendary Jackie. And his guesthouse turned out to be a wonderful escape from a busy and touristy Yunnan. I am so happy I went and will be back many times again! The guesthouse itself is a great value for the price - huge clean rooms, excellent shower, amazing fews, fantastic common space, great meals, good homely atmosphere. Though the real gem is Jackie. From the moment I made a booking to the day AFTER my departure Jackie always made himself available to answer all the questions, help with transportation, plan my days, give advice. Once locals learned I was Jackie's guest, I always got royal treatment wherever I went - that's how much he is respected. And deservingly so. He planned a perfect hiking day for me by providing clear descriptions of all trails, drawing maps, even giving pictures of trail views for reference. He was also in constant contact to make sure I was on the right path. I am city person, and even though Jackie did all the hand-holding and everything for me not to get lost, I got lost anyway. And ended up with a dead phone battery in the middle of nowhere ricefields caught in the rain very late evening. Jackie, being Jackie, got in the car and went searching for me. With the help of the locals in one of the surrounding villages, Jackie was able to locate me and safely brought me back. I was overwhelmed with gratitude! I have never experienced such caring and generous host in all my years of travel. I will fondly remember Yuanyang and Jackie, who made Yuanyang simply perfect!

Dali Yunxi Boutique Inn har en god beliggenhed i centrum af Dali og har værelser med aircondition samt en have, gratis wi-fi og et fælles opholdsområde. By far the best hotel during our stay in Yunnan. Great position, nice and clean rooms, good homemade breakfast. The hosts both know english and are very communicative and helpful. We felt very welcome.

The staff were lovely, you could tell they cared about us. Great room and the view was spectacular. I also loved the pet cat that was super friendly! Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Timeless Inn. On arrival we were greeted with fresh tea and snacks. Our host Rose was very responsive to our needs as guests, especially when our daughter was not feeling well. She made our stay special, making us feel like friends or family that were visiting. Rose served us both Asian and Western breakfast depending on the day, both were delicious. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, very clean. We enjoyed to hang out in the dining room and the he 2nd floor balcony. We highly recommend Rose's place if you visit Shangri-la.

We recently stayed at this delightful B&B, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was cozy, impeccably clean。The location was also ideal, close enough to explore nearby attractions but still peaceful and relaxing. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is really convenient. Strongly recommended!
