The property has mountain and quiet street views, and is a few steps from Erhai Gate. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. An amazing place to stay - it's like a BnB meets a boutique hotel. Our room was so lovely, with a window seat looking out at the mountains. The rooftop view was even better! The owners are very nice and speak good English which is very helpful in China. We have been travelling around the world for almost 1 year now and this was one of our favourite accomodations ☺️

Warm welcome from the hosts, including adorable friendly Corgi dog. Every dish we ordered at dinner was delicious! Pancake for breakfast was yummy and comforting. Sandwiches packed to go on the day of our hike were just what we needed. Clean room, warm at night. Comfortable beds. Balcony off every room with an outstanding view of the mountains. Washing machine on site. Steps from the start of the Tiger Leaping Gorge Trail. If your doing the trail, be sure to get an excellent coffee near the sky ladder-it happens to be run by the host’s son and is delicious!

Centrally located in Lijiang Ancient Town, Xilu Xiaoxie Inn features cosy accommodation with traditional Chinese furnishings and modern facilities. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in the entire property. Guests can use self-laundry and dryer facilities for free. Well located near to South gate. Mr joy can speak fluent english and helped us a lot. There is free laundry machine with dryer. The room is well heated, well organised and most importantly very clean. The staff are not fluent with english but they try their best to communicate(can use google translate they can understandverywell)

From the moment we arrived, they treated us not just as guests, but like old friends. As it was our first time in Shangri-La, Rose’s tips and advice were incredibly helpful. She gave us detailed guidance on what to see and do around town, local restaurant recommendations, and even how to get to each place. Her insights really helped us make the most of our stay. She also helped us call for Didi rides and even woke up as early as 6am to accompany us outside and make sure everything went smoothly. Every morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast at our preferred time, always served with a smile and friendly conversation. She shared lovely stories about Shangri-La — what it was like in the old days versus now — which added so much depth to our experience. Her husband kindly picked us up from the airport and was equally warm and welcoming. He also offers transportation and guiding services to out of town attractions, which is a great option for anyone wanting a more convenient and insightful visit. On our last day, Rose recommended we go to Balagezhong instead of Shika Mountain — and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! The inn itself has a cozy, homely feel. Rose even upgraded our room to the second floor with a beautiful view. Though the stairs are a bit steep, she insisted on helping us carry our large luggage. The location is excellent — right inside the Ancient Town, just steps from shops, restaurants, the Giant Prayer Wheel, and the central plaza where you can enjoy Tibetan dancing every evening. Being on the edge of the old town also made it super convenient for catching a Didi — only a 1–2 minute walk, so no need to haul luggage through narrow streets. Situated in Longpan, 3 km from Tiger Leaping Gorge, Tiger Leaping Half Way Guest House features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Free WiFi and room service are offered. We stayed here overnight while hiking along tiger leaping gorge. It's in a fantastic location with great views. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helped us book transport from Tina's back to Lijiang

Featuring inner courtyard views, 大理沙溪云喜七月精品客栈 Shaxi Ancient Town Yunxi Qiyue Guesthouse in Jianchuan features accommodation and a garden. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The homestay has family rooms. I can't find the words to describe how perfect my stay was. The room was immaculate, the bedding extremely comfortable. The toiletries were top of the range. And the breakfasts... absolutely delicious! Located 2 minutes from the center, this hotel is ideal for a relaxing stay in Shaxi. The host, Lynn, was lovely and always helpful to this French tourist who doesn't speak Chinese (me)! She also sells pottery featuring the local cat mascot: Wa Mao. If I wasn't backpacking for six months, I would have loved to buy some, they're so cute. Just go! ☀️

This recently renovated guest house is located 5.1 km from Yu'er Park and 5.2 km from Dali Foreigner Street. The guest house has family rooms. We recently stayed at this delightful B&B, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was cozy, impeccably clean。The location was also ideal, close enough to explore nearby attractions but still peaceful and relaxing. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is really convenient. Strongly recommended!
