A charming and comfortable hostel with the best possible location for travellers who want to explore downtown and enjoy a variety of restaurants. This is not your typical hostel. It’s larger than most other places, and you will get a guided tour on your arrival! We loved the privacy and the size of our large double room. Even better was the people running the place: everyone from the owners Samuel and Nancy to the employees. When we got into trouble, the owner spent so much time helping us that we will remember it for the rest of our lives. It took us four hostels, during our three visits in Bogota, to find a place to come back to. The real Colombia magic. Already looking forward to seeing everybody again.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful on every opportunity. I book a bed in a share room but when I arrive my bed was taken so they gave a private room without extra charge. I had to leave at 3am because a pretty early flight so the staff make all the arrangements to be there for the check out.

In the historic part of Bogota a street over from the main pedestrian street which runs to the city's main historic squares. Hence, lots of restaurants, cafes and museums within walking distance. Safe neighborhood. Certainly not a party hostel but the warm atmosphere created by the owner makes for a sociable environment.

We stayed with Gildardo on two occasions and both times everything worked out perfectly. He is such a gentleman. We added in the airport pickup and drop off and it all went smoothly. There are a few restaurants nearby for a late dinner or an early breakfast. There are also a few grocery stores. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. This is the place to stay if you have an early morning flight from Bogota. Don’t bother looking anywhere else. Thank you Gildardo. We miss you.

Lovely friendly family that were very welcoming. We were very tired after a long bus journey from Santa Marta, so it was nice to just get somewhere and feel relaxed. Some good food options nearby for dinner. Definitely recommend for flights out of Bogota.
