In a few steps you found yourself in the middle of lively Getsemani quarter, but the Hotel itself was located in a quiet street.

Hostel Santa Cruz del Islote is located in the Corales Archipelago of the San Bernardo Islands, on the islet of Santa Cruz. Have a restaurant, bar and shared lounge. Everything about this place is amazing. The people, the food, the setting. Free snorking and kayaking is offered. Water is crystal clear right outside. Thanks for everything. We will be back for sure.

My recent two night stay was exceptional. The ocean view from the hostel was incredible and the food was delicious. The hosts were very friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I do not have anything negative to say about my stay! Highly recommended!

Le MARIE B&B có xe đạp miễn phí, hồ bơi ngoài trời, phòng chờ chung và sân hiên ở Cartagena de Indias. Honestly, we loved it here. The people are so welcoming and everything is super clean and cosy. There's air conditioning and the shower is amazing, good pressure and it's warm!! (which is quite rare for accommodations in Colombia at a reasonable price). Highly recommend staying here! The neighbourhood Manga is about 10-15 minutes from the party/hip area of Getsemani and the historical centre. We felt safe walking there at night, sticking to the main roads. The free bikes from Marie B&B were a very welcoming surprise, we used them to go to the beach and explore the area. There's free coffee and water and the staff is there at all times to help with anything that you need.

We originally booked for only one night as we didn't know how we'd handle the lack of air conditioning but there is good ventilation in the cabana. We stayed for an extra night and would have stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed for it! Manuel is so kind and friendly, he was a great help in organising transport to Barú and the mangrove and plankton tours, or even just chatting and having a drink with us. Roxana is amazing, whipping up delicious food in the kitchen and keeping the place spotless. Food portions are huge and very prices for both food and drink are very reasonable. The cabana is in a good location, away from the busiest section of the beach, although be aware there are still some boats where you enter the water. We have no complaints whatsoever, everything is as described. If you are accepting of the basic facilities on offer on Barú in general you'll not have any troubles here. I doubt you'd get a better, more relaxing atmosphere for a similar price.
