Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Luna del Desierto was great for my short stay in Villavieja. The rooms were spacious and clean, the facilities were great, and the dog Luna was adorable. Kudos to the staff, including Andrea, for being super friendly and helpful with everything related to Tatacoa! Really made to feel at home.

She is extremely welcoming, prepares amazing breakfast, coffee and house-made lemonade in-between. I can definitely recommend the offered tour to the Tatacoa desert. They also organized a collectivo back to neiva for us.

The guest house features family rooms. Dario, the host, went above and beyond for us and was available for any questions and advice for anything you could want. It is a bioreserva, so you should expect a dry toilet, a wonderful pool (inevitably with bugs), and limited appliances as the whole site is run on solar energy. If you are happy with these things as I was, the place is beautiful and peaceful. Bikes are available to rent as well but there is plenty around the location to keep you relaxed and occupied as well.

The guest house offers an American or vegetarian breakfast. The staff are so nice and helpful. They offer really great tours to the desert and also a cheap breakfast with more options than the usual eggs! Nice communal sitting area on the terrace and a water filter so you don't have to keep buying bottles.

Each unit comes with air conditioning, and some units at the guest house have a patio. At the guest house, each unit has bed linen and towels.

Located in amazing place with very nice staff. As you are in the desert expect for wildlife, even in the room 😅
