Stayed here two nights and it was a perfect relaxing spot. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed in the small kitchen. The bed is comfortable with good quality sheets and blankets. There is a TV with Netflix for the evenings and the wifi works well. AC is cool and shower is hot. The grounds are beautiful and the small pool was refreshing. The weather was cloudy most of the time we stayed but we did get a quick peek of the volcano. It’s RIGHT THERE. What a beautiful view! I spent a lot of time reading on the small terrace and bird watching. It is a bit out of La Fortuna, but we had a rental car and it was nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle.

The property was beautiful from the landscaping to the many hummingbirds right outside our door. My kids and I loved sitting on the porch and enjoyed the rocking chair and hammock in the evening while listening to the rain. The rooms were clean, beds comfy, warm shower. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a hike or other adventures in the area. Our host Berenice was amazing!

The manager Annah is an amazing host and source of local information and services at the right price!! The place is really clean and well located away from the city center noise. It is a great hostel to stay while visiting La Fortuna.

It’s really beautiful and budget friendly place to stay in La Fortuna. The room was clean and equipped with the AC and TV. What we like the most was the pool with outdoor kitchen. 10 minutes of walking distance to the city center.

The owner was so very helpful and warm and friendly. She gave us a great breakfast, helped us to figure out where to visit (hot springs, volcano, and ziplining). The location was outstanding. You can see both the volcano and a bit of the lake below, since you are perched up on a hillside. The patio was so very cool as well: swings, hammock chair, tables constructed from shipping pallets. All very sweet looking. If we ever come back to the area we will DEFINTELY stay with her again.

The place is located away from the crowds, in a quiet area surrounded by lush forest and with a volcano towering right above you. The scenery looks unreal! While the rooms are very basic, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay: the showers work, the kitchen is equipped, there's a place to wash and dry clothes. And the garden around the house is simply gorgeous! The host was super friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, even though we arrived very late.

Arenal Garden Lodge is located in El Castillo de La Fortuna within the Arenal Volcano National Park. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. The host was super helpful and friendly ans the room was spacious and clean. Would absolutely recommend, good value for money.
