All rooms at the accommodation have air conditioning and a wardrobe. Sergio and Gloria are amazing hosts! We had a wonderful stay in Daneysha and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well maintained, family friendly and hospitable guesthouse when visiting Tortuguero. Also highly recommend Sergio as a guide to the national park.

Situated in Puerto Viejo and only less than 1 km from Negra Beach, Kalawala features accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. The accommodations were excellent. Tom patiently answered any questions I had. I also highly recommend the bakery downstairs. My family and I enjoyed the savory pastries and coffee.

We had a lovely stay here. The location was perfect, the host was so helpful and friendly. The room was perfect, the grounds are pretty. A special bonus- a yoga mat for guests to use! The common room gave us an opportunity to meet interesting international travelers.
