Highly recommend it. Sylvio is a great host, and very attentive. The pool was ideal with our kids 5+9 years. Good to know that the restaurant is temporarily closed but will open again in a couple of months. This was no issue for us, as we enjoyed the communal kitchen very much!

The hostess is very communicative, Gloria makes your stay pleasant due to the tours and advices she offers, the tours were guided by her husband, Sergio who speaks English as well, has lots of knowledge and the fact that you were in a private tour and transported from the Cabins to the tour and viceversa. I was impressed with the spotless absolutely clean room. Immaculate! I enjoyed a comfortable sleep and was treated so kindly by the owners, that I will not forget them. I definitely recommend Cabinas Hukats Secret Jungle. What a local gem!!!

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. The owner was super friendly. The house is located in a beautiful garden, basically your own private nature reserve with sloths, birds, frogs, aguri and more.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Cahuita Inn offers accommodation in Cahuita. Guests can enjoy the next-door Pizzeria Cahuita restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. This is a lovely place with a private deck on the ocean. It is coral, so not a beach for swimming - but Playa Negra is a beautiful black sand beach a mere 10 minute walk away - excellent for swimming. We had the air conditioned rooms with floor to ceiling windows looking out at the jungle and ocean as well as a lovely swimming pool. The back courtyard not only a few steps from the ocean, but also full of hammocks and wildlife, daily visits from howler monkeys and tons of birds. A beautiful place to relax. The breakfast was delightful, the staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and very close to everything in town. Many delicious restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The national park, hiking and snorkeling all within a few minutes walk. We LOVED this place and can't wait to go back.
