Highly recommend it. Sylvio is a great host, and very attentive. The pool was ideal with our kids 5+9 years. Good to know that the restaurant is temporarily closed but will open again in a couple of months. This was no issue for us, as we enjoyed the communal kitchen very much!

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Fantastic place with a beautiful garden, plenty of wildlife! The hosts are super welcoming, taking their time to show you around and help spot the animals (sloths, toucans, lizards etc). The pool is also very nice as well as the beach just across the street - it has shade, more sloths and feels safe for kids. We would have happily spent more time there!

Contemporary comfort, style, security, wonderful service, delicious food, calm atmosphere, beautiful hammock strewn palm grove right on the ocean, with waves rolling in on your doorstep. Vladimir was a wonderful host, the position was amazing and the room very comfortable. There were two fans in the room so we had no problem with the hot weather.

Marfi Inn offers an on-site Italian restaurant, a garden and free Wi-Fi throughout. It is located 200 metres from Playa Blanca and from Playa Negra Beaches. Lovely guesthouse with spacious apartment & on site parking. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night! Really generous & delicious breakfast. Great location with welcoming host. Highly recommend.
