If you are looking for paradise, this is the place. You need to stay here! The view is breathtaking and pictures don't do justice to this place. The food was the best we had in costa rica. Yann and Kalu are really amazing and make you feel so confortable. There is nothing to improve as it is already perfect. I will recommend this place to anyone coming to costa rica.

The view from the apartment is extremely special, you have a completely undisturbed view into the valley and the cloud forest. Our host was very accommodating, advised us on many tours, took over the entire organization and was so kind in many ways. We would book again in a heartbeat. The coffee tour was excellent, very informative. The staff were very warm and friendly and making sure we had everything we needed and knew how to get there the best route. The house was very comfortable, the one we had had 3 beds, one in a private room. It seems rustic but the bathroom is modern and the live edge table and counter are very en vogue. Amazing views from the 3 huge windows to see all around you including toucans in the morning.

The photos do not do this place any justice. It is exceptionally beautiful and located inside the jungle which provides a wonderful experience. Spotted lots of animals within the property premises, including chipmunks, monkeys, a Jesus lizard, and even a frog. Considering the location insects were surprisingly not an issue. The host also provided us with coffee for the entire duration of the stay as well as gave us a pineapple and 2 mangoes upon our arrival.

What a lovely, interesting little Casita! Beautiful light, comfortable bed, absolutely marvelous host, and a stunning cook as well! Just be prepared that you will access the house via a steep gravel road just slightly outside of the main part of Santa Elena. It's good to have an SUV with good ground clearance in Monteverde and this is no different.

Enjoyed this bed and breakfast accommodation. Super clean, beautiful and peaceful within 10-20 minutes walking distance to restaurants and bars nearby. Would highly recommend this place!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and just 100 metres from the beach, Casa Aba Matapalo is located in Matapalo. Free WiFi access is available. We loved the spacious Chouchou suite which included a lovely outdoor patio and kitchen. The bathroom was very pretty. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The property was unique and very well maintained.
