Arelys was very welcoming and informative about what to do around town. She shared a list of free activities to do and restaurant recommendations. The place was very peaceful and overlooked the mountains. The hot water in the shower was another plus! My siblings and I were staying there during Easter and Arelys surprised us with a little Easter basket of goodies :') Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful spacious lodge overlooking the coffee farm. Jennifer gave us a nice tour of the farm and offered a great breakfast as well as leaving some fresh ground coffee in our room. Loved the view from our beds of the hillside!

Great place in the middle of nature. We can always watch monkeys from our balcony and there's 2 hammocks which is perfect for a couple. There are 2 other rental properties in the compound but we felt privacy as our balcony was opposite the others and facing just nature. Kitchen is equipped enough for simple meals. The swimming pool is nice to have is the Costa Rican heat. Owners are very kind.

What a lovely, interesting little Casita! Beautiful light, comfortable bed, absolutely marvelous host, and a stunning cook as well! Just be prepared that you will access the house via a steep gravel road just slightly outside of the main part of Santa Elena. It's good to have an SUV with good ground clearance in Monteverde and this is no different.

Located 2 km from Quepos centre, and 10 km from MidWorld Costa Rica, Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Guest House Pura Vida was our favourite stay in a month of travelling in Costa Rica. We loved meeting and chatting with our hosts Jorge and Pamela who, thanks to their own love and experiences of traveling, put a lot of thought and care into creating a welcoming place for travellers. This was especially evident by the common areas such as the kitchen, which was beautifully arranged over a second-storey balcony. There was some secret sauce that made the space extra-inviting and we had many easy and warm interactions with other guests. Our room was surprisingly spacious and had lots of neat decorative touches to make it feel like home. The property itself was beautiful, with amazing views of the mountains from the common areas, a tree in the courtyard where macaws would visit, and a little stream behind the property. The location, just a few minutes up the hill from the town centre, was quiet and safe (parking either inside the courtyard, or out front on a quiet gravel road). Finally, it's one of the cleanest places I have EVER stayed at, even compared to higher-end hotels etc. etc. I really couldn't ask for anything more if I tried!

Set in Quepos, 7 km from Manuel Antonio National Park, Cabinas Mansión Tropical features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. You will find a coffee machine in the room. Nice very clean room, quiet area, secure car parking. Great kitchen. The host was helpful in telling us the bus schedule to get to the park (definitely take the bus for ~360/person rather than get gouged $10 for car parking).
