The guesthouse is a nice old house with everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything is very clean. The owner, Senora Mayela, is a treasure as well, a warm-hearted person. She took the best care of me, and our conversations were delightful! If you need a cozy place to stay in downtown San Jose, look no further. This is it! Thank you, senora Mayela, for everything!

Additionally, Fabien went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, got settled into Costa Rica, and literally went above and beyond in every single way to help me with whatever I needed. The home is small, but extremely clean. He was very respectful of my space and my needs and I felt completely safe and comfortable. This is a property I would highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a day or two in San Jose. His local knowledge and willingness to share that and assist me was truly exceptional. I will encourage any family and friends heading to Costa Rica to start their trip with him.

The bungalow was a delight to live in for 4 days at the end of November 2023! We spent lovely days down on the coast, and up at the waterfalls. A delightfully restful and perfect part of our two week vacation. Highly recommended!!

Offering a casino, gym and free WiFi zone, this modern Sleep Inn Hotel Paseo Las Damas is situated opposite España Park and the Modern Art Museum. Breakfast was sufficient and warm, with an attentive lady helping us all. The hotel was located in the center of the city, which allowed us to get sim card and other essentials before moving on to our next destinations. The room was big and clean. Nothing to complain.
