A nice guesthouse for our two night stay in Mindelo. The hosts are very welcoming and we enjoyed our large room. The breakfast was plentiful and we were able to try many local treats. There's ample parking outside if you have a rental.

I chose Orietta Residencial based on exceptional other reviews, mentioned facilities and friendly atmosphere, and proximity to the Port (for travel to Santo Antao), main streets of Mindelo, and Laginha Beach. In all cases this was a fantastic choice. The Italian couple who run Orietta, and their team, are unbelievably friendly and helpful with a determination to make even the smallest stay perfect. The location is on a quiet street very close to everything, and with an amazing interior courtyard. The top terrace overlooking the pool is a nice relaxed sunny spot for breakfast but also to work and in the evening to have a few drinks during sunset. It is cooler and less rushed and noisy than the rest of Mindelo, away from some of the hassles in town. The room was cool, very tidy, with everything you need, including a marble bathroom with a large, reliable shower. Everything was spotlessly tidy and clean and the terrace area is perfectly designed to allow guests to feel at home and to easily relax. As the hosts also made is possible for me to arrive early (from the airport) and leave late (for the port), I can say with certainty their only focus is the well being of guests. From walking round Mindelo I can also say with certainty they have the best place!

Casa JPi se află în São Pedro și include o terasă și un bar, precum și un restaurant. Casa JPi is a home away from home. We loved our time here. Was a great way to relax in to island life ! JP is an exceptional host, no request too big or small. Really felt well taken care of and welcomed. He met our request for afternoon tea on day when I was craving some tea and cake, as well as picking us up from various locations including the airport and a restaurant. If you don’t manage to reserve the room with the balcony, the view from the shared balcony on the top floor is amazing and you’ll probably get to meet and chat with the other nice guests staying there. Do note that private bathroom doesn’t mean en suite. The place is clean and comfortable and the location is amazing, 1 minute walk from the beach.

We very much enjoyed our short stay at Casa Bom Dia. Christophe and family created a beautiful place and we were welcomed very warmly. The roof terrace is very nice and we enjoyed our breakfast. We also really liked how the place was furnished and decorated. Generally great vibes. Will come back if we visit Cape Verde again.

Taco helped me so much and gave me great insights into life in Cabo Verde. The breakfast was great and all in all value for money was great. I hope to stay there again.

The view of the mountains and Mindelo is beautiful. If you also love to visit Santo Antão, the ferry is nearby. You could see and hear the ferry departing from the harbor from the balcony. Grocery stores and a market with unique souvenirs are nearby.

Laginha Beach Guest House se află în Mindelo, la 3 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Da Laginha, și include o grădină, un lounge comun și vedere la oraș. Great place! The owners are very friendly and helpful, and easy to reach via booking or WhatsApp. The location is great, really close to a supermarket, some restaurants and the ferry to Sao Antao. There is plenty of parking options right at the house. The rooms and the other areas are clean, the breakfast is freshly made and the WiFi works great. Beds are comfy, but for 2 persons we prefer a bit wider. Shower works great (with hot water), there are enough plugs to charge your stuff. We have no complaints, everything was good! Thanks again!
