This guesthouse is situated within the historic walls of Kloster Weltenburg, the oldest monastery in Bavaria. It lies in the Weltenburger Enge conservation area, near the romantic River Danube. Well organized, friendly staff, great food and beautiful location. It is a monastary so the rooms are simple, but the quality of the rooms and furnishings is high.

This family-friendly guest house is quietly located in Enkering, just 2 km from Kinding, in the heart of the Altmühl Valley. The stay was exceptional — hosts Bianca and Jürgen were very forthcoming in accommodating any of our requests, gave us all the information we needed about the stay and the location (even on topics we hadn’t thought to ask about), and were, all in all, very pleasant people. I think it's also almost impossible to find anything better in terms of value for money during summer in the area. We stayed there to be in the countryside near Roth and to do some running, riding, and swimming — and the location was perfectly suited for all that, with everything within a 10 km radius. Kinding is a quiet and peaceful place in the countryside, yet still only a 30-minute drive from Roth. The breakfast was a continental-style one, with tasty homemade items included in the selection. The room was clean and nicely furnished, with a large balcony, a comfortable bed, and reliable Wi-Fi.
