The location is super convenient, several convenience stores less than 5min walking away, a few good restaurants within 5 minutes walking. Breakfast is really, really, really good, a lot of options and great quality.

We loved the layout of the apartment: very large with a great double bedroom for myself and my husband and two single beds in the other bedroom for our two teenage children - who prefer not to share a double bed anymore at age 12 and 14. Kitchen is great and has everything you need. Dishwasher, oven, cooker, coffee machine, fridge. There were two dishwasher tablets with the hire. Our son loved the bath in the bathroom, whereas our daughter loved the separate rain shower. There are plenty of towels and enough toilet role for the first two days. Apartment is super clean, and just across the street from the Altastenberg slopes. The skibus stops 30 meters from the apartment in case you want to go to the other Winterberg slopes, which are basically two busstops away (with then some great skiing access to the Winterberg Karussel). We did not use the car the entire weekend (except for going to the supermarket) which is great as parking in Winterberg can get busy. Parking at the property is great as there is a separate barrier to which you get the key, so always a space and super secure. The ski/snowboard rental is below the apartment - via an internal door, and the staff there are super friendly. You can leave your skis and boots overnight so that they are nice and dry/warm in the morning. Kids hired skis and wanted to swap to snowboards for the day which was not a problem at all. We got 20% off the rental as the ski rental is owned by the same very nice lady as the apartment. We loved everything about our weekend here! And skiing was great, even though we are all advanced skiers!

Great Location just outside the old town. Easy access to the Weser bike route. Very helpful host and there was a safe space to store our bikes. The breakfast was excellent - a good start for a day of cycling.

Hosts were very nice and kind and checked us in very late, just right before they closed the reception at 10pm. Room was cozy and clean. We had everything we needed. It was great to wake up there being surrounded in the greenery. We also saw peacock just on the parking on the territory of the property :)
