All rooms feature antique marble bathrooms with corner bathtubs for 2 people, and views over the medieval town. What a wonderful stay in the beautiful Rothenburg - hotel lives up to its name and transports you back, perfect for Rothenburg. Hotel is located just off the main road, with parking nearby to load/unload which I would recommend. It's a little far to walk over the cobblestones if you have heavy luggage. Parking bay is easy to get to from there. Staff were great, they offer a decent breakfast which is charged additionally. Would stay again.

Absolutely superb breakfast service (11/10)! Newly renovated from the ground up. WiFi works fine. Supermarket just across the street. Perfect location for a lot of hiking. Easily reachable by car as well as public transport. Despite this being an active railway station, the trains didn't bother me sound wise. With the windows closed, sound isolation was extremely good, and even sleeping with the window open was OK (I will add that my room was on the street side of the building, however).
