It is conveniently near hiking areas, cycling paths and lakes, 10 km from the Bad Reichenhall exit of the A8 motorway, and 17 km from Salzburg. A lot of outdoor activities for kids. The breakfast has many choices, which we think is the best one during our stay in Germany. The owner is kind and helpful. The location is good get away from City, but also convenient if going to Bad Reichenhall

These classically decorated rooms are bright and colour, with wooden floors and wooden furnishings. Each room provides an en suite bathroom, and all rooms include a TV and some of them have balcony. Everything was perfect, such a nice hotel, exactly what you expect from a mountain hotel. Well decorated rooms with a nice terrace, breakfast had also everything one needs to start a good day. We would definitely come back here if we can.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. The hotel itself is cozy, comfortable, clean and furnished in a unique, I would say traditional style. The host - owner of the property was very friendly, outgoing and welcoming. We loved everything about our stay there and we would recommend the hotel 10 out of 10 times.
