Amazing hospitality and very warm and friendly host. The breakfast was 10/10 with many home made jams and marmalades. Our host Frau Kuchler was extremely helpful and welcoming and helped us with tips and suggestions. The Guest House itself is located in a beautiful peaceful location amidst nature and recently renovated. We visited in winter to celebrate our anniversary and for the winter activities around Lam. We will come back again in Summer!

Very good value for money, with a comfortable albeit simple room and a very nice and varied breakfast. The location is right along one of the accessory trails of the Goldsteig, making it a good spot for a stay along your trip.

Amazing place to stay with family host approach, very personal and kind owners. We even received bigger room than ordered for no extra cost. The room was spacious with balkony towards the forest so very nice. Even though its close to the road, there is no noise at all. The breakfast was very nice.

The guest house appeared to be in everything beyond our expectations. Hearty welcome and farewell from the owners, eagerness to help and tips on local highlights, comfortably furnished and equipped apartment with everything one will need for a few days stay and absolutely marvellous surrounding - the very heart of the Bavarian Forest resort, yet in close proximity by car to amenities like supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants. We felt ourselves at home. As a person with a travelling bag I can say without dought - it´s the best gesthouse I have ever stayed at. Lenka and Martin, you are the best hosts, my husband and I will certainly come back. Czech and Russian are also spoken in this guest house.

It was off-season during our visit, so the place was mostly empty. There's a very well equipped shared kitchen which we ended up eventually using although we didn't planned to do so. A nice option if you get tired of local restaurants or just want to cook something on your own. I can imagine that it might get busy during the season though. City center is nearby, so is the local supermarket. Train station is around 25 min walk. A nice bonus is the regional "Nationalpark Card" which you will get for free for the duration of your stay. It allows free bus/train travels within the region and some other benefits.
