8 km from the Franconian Switzerland Nature Park and Bamberg, this hotel is situated within a historic building. It offers free WiFi, a traditional beer garden with playground, and 3 wooden gazebos. A beautiful family run guest house with a fantastic beer garden and a great food choice. We really loved our first visit to this area. Breakfast was very good and the rooms really comfortable.

Loved the quaint location although not sure why Google maps takes you higher up the road , so arm yourself with patience…as you will find it, as it is on the main road. Breakfast was continental as I expected - good selection of breads,cheeses boiled eggs, vegetables and cold meats/salami. For the cereal/butter/pastries/jam lovers, a good selection to choose from as well, so if you are staying several days, I’m sure you’ll have enough to choose from! The views are superb both in the morning and evening, so if you’re looking for a place to have a good sleep and to relax your mind, you’ve come to the right place. The host is ever so helpful and knows that a great smile goes a long way, making guests feel welcome is her nature! Hostess was friendly, accommodating; room and bath were spacious. Shower particularly nice. Outside Bayreuth 30 minutes but easy to find and a great value, though cash only.

We arrived late, but they stayed there for us. Booked late, so we did not have superhigh expectations (just happy that we could bring the dog). Clean, good beds, fantastic breakfast (according to everyone in the family). Hotel did not have car charging station, but there was a public one 50-100 m from hotel.
