This family-run guest house is quietly situated in Stadt Wehlen in the heart of the Saxon Switzerland National Park, directly below the world-famous Bastei rock formation. It offers free WiFi. Beautiful location. Clean room. Very lovely breakfast with homemade specialty jams etc. that even included vegan options (when requested). Staff was very kind and helpful. Contactless check-in when you come outside of check-in hours. A perfect place to rest up and enjoy nature. Parking was available and pets were allowed. Even though we didn't bring any we love meeting others' pets on holidays.

The flat was very comfort and nicely designed! We felt there like home and it was also a very nice and calm area! We will come again for sure!

Self check-in but it was pretty easy. It provided free parking space. Conveniently located for access to the Sachsen Swiss National Park. Great value.

I came by public transport and found that I did not need a car to get around. I was able to walk just a few meters and I was on a hiking trial. But take note of the bus timetable if you want to go further, they are not very frequent. The breakfast was amazing and there was even enough food left over to create a sandwich for lunch on my hike. The restaurant food was also delicious and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. It was peaceful and the perfect atmosphere for a back to nature, hiking trip.

The location is ideal; right in the heart of Pirna old town within a few minutes walk to so many restaurants and bars. We would recommend and are very much looking forward to staying here again at the end the Malerweg.
