We organised a last-minute trip for a short getaway from Berlin as we wanted to go kayaking in the Spreewald. We were lucky to get the last room available at Bludnik. The location is stunning. You have to walk a bit from the carpark but the payoff is that you are in the middle of the forest with no traffic sounds, only the singing of birds, the rustle of leaves and the gentle lapping of water against the dock. The rooms are very modern and elegant and the bed is so comfy that I slept very well, even from the first night, which almost never happens when I stay in a hotel. The hotel has kayaks for rent which I thoroughly recommend as we spent a beautiful 3 hours paddling around the town and then out along the Spree, which is a gorgeous section of the river. Will definitely be back.

Located in Lübben, Spreewälder Ferienpension features barbecue facilities and a garden. Free WiFi is at guests' disposal. All guest rooms in the guest house are equipped with a flat-screen TV. We absolutely loved our experience there. Rooms were clean and cozy, location is quiet, but not far from supermarkets and bus station, and the staff was extremely helpful.

Pension Schlossgasse is conveniently located in charming countryside in Lieberose, on the edge of the Spreewald forest and 80 km south of Berlin. Free private parking is available on site. Very friendly staff. As others have mentioned, we managed to check in after 19 o'clock. Extra bonus: mosquito net.
