The food is excellent. It is only a short walk to the lake but you can also walk to the next village with the oldest Chapel in Bavaria.

Very nice location, at walking distance from the lake and not far from Starnberg and Tutzing (accessible by car (10min) or S-bahn which is 5min from the hôtel). Proximity with the S-bahn also allows a day-trip to Munich (c. 40min by train). The breakfast is hearty with bavarian and german staples. The restaurant in the evening serves really amazing food with bavarian classics that were absolutely wonderful (best Kartoffelsalat i ever had).

The rooms were super clean and equipped with a fan for the hot weather. The breakfast in the morning in the cozy dining room was top notch. We loved this place so much, we came back after a stay in 2012. Highly recommend.
