Casa Barbara quiet, clean and the host were super friendly. We loved having coffee by the pool and hanging out with her friendly sweet pups. The size of the beach cottage was perfect for the two of us. The ac worked great for sleeping at night if you like a colder temp. I was also impressed with the hand poured concrete kitchen counter top and woodwork for bed and shelves. All functionality was well thought out.

The place is like a little secret garden and is just so beautifully maintained. The staff is outstanding and even though we had tone of questions and support requests were very relaxed about it and very informative. The place was very spacious and clean.

Everything was clean, I was given beach towels in addition to normal shower towels and Richard was super helpful. I arrived on a day with heavy thunderstorms and he invited me to have homemade dinner so I wouldn't have to go out in the rain. The location is also great. It's only a very short walk to the boat terminal where tours to Los Haitises and the ferry to Sabana de la Mar depart from.

Staff/ owner is super friendly and an amazing host. We could not request a better way to be received. A "must go" for sure and amazing stay in option. Will come back without thinking whenever opportunities arise. Hopefully we were as good guests as they were as hosts.

Dario is a very kind host, he shared with us a lot of useful information, the place has everything you might need during your stay. The surrounding is calm and beautiful. If you are looking for a rest it will be a perfect choice.
